Markel International said today that it was pleased with the performance of its Markel Syndicate 3000 as shown in the syndicate forecast figures to June 30 2003, released by Lloyd’s on August 28 2003.

Of the 89 syndicates reported on for 2002, Markel Syndicate 3000 was forecast to be the sixth best performing syndicate, with an expected mid point return of 22.5% on capacity.
