Neal Thomas and Ed Pomeroy have joined the non-marine property division of Markel International.  Neal and Ed have joined the underwriting team and report into Divisional Managing Director, Conor Finn.  Neal joins from A J Gallagher (UK) Ltd and has over twenty-three years experience as a broker and Ed joins from Cooper Gay and has worked within the sector for almost fifteen years.

Neal first began his career at Sedgwicks in 1980 and since then has worked in several broker/technical roles.  He is a member of IRIB (Institute Register of Insurance Brokers) and has a degree in law from Leeds University.  Ed has worked in a variety of roles including most recently, as a US Direct Broker at Cooper Gay, prior to that he was property underwriter at Copenhagen Re.
