MINT Canadian Specialty, an agent of Lloyd’s of London, announced today the appointment of Michael Lough to the newly-created position of assistant vice president of Business Development. This position has been created to proactively develop relationships and seek new opportunities for growth for MINT Canadian Specialty.

Michael Lough takes up this new role having held the position of national program facilitator of Royal & Sun Alliance Canada since 2002 where he was responsible for the relationship management of the larger broker accounts and the development of new broker relationships both nationally and internationally. Starting out as an underwriter 16 years ago, Michael has experience in underwriting multiple lines of business including automobile, property and liability.
