Markel has been providing equine products across the United States for more than 40 years. Now, through Markel International, it is building a transatlantic equine business and developing very strong links with the racing and breeding industry.

The London-based division writes business through Markel Syndicate 3000 and focuses on both bloodstock and livestock (which includes land and aquatic life).

For bloodstock, coverage is available for the widest range of needs from private horse owners up to the largest stud farm, while livestock products are available for farms, zoos and other animal interests. In both cases, products can be tailored to meet individual or unusual requirements.
