Our team
Markel International's claims team comprises more than 70 highly trained and qualified specialists with in-depth experience across all the company's lines of business and regions. Where necessary, to ensure we deal diligently and effectively with every claim, we draw on the experience of lawyers, loss adjusters and other professionals.
We were voted Claims Team of the Year at the Insurance Day Industry Awards in 2008 and 2010, and we play a leading role in bringing innovation to the market. A key advocate of Electronic Claims Files (ECF), we are a driving force in reform initiatives that are refining the claims process.
